The Big Pater’s make a mess in Roquetes

Honduran rap in Barcelona has a name, and that name is The Big Pater’s who leave their mark wherever they go. They have participated in Saturday afternoons at the club,  and put on a show oto remember every time. This time they put together an event with a very daring line-up, not often seen in Barcelona events..

The concerts began with the R&B of Nina Blood and her dancers that left the whole room singing song after song and wanting more. After her, Kalash Real En Serie made us have a good time with his raps and melodies in Spanish and his mother tongue, Russian.

    Real Cholo

Real Cholo took over the room with his strong rapping and the room shouting “pass the ball, I’m going crazy”. Cholo, along with his Crew Son Del Boombap gave a spectacular show that left the room loud and ready for the next show.

    Leona Picazo

Leona Picazo is the queen of conscious rap, so conscious that she connects with the audience transcending like no one else. An artist with a lot of potential that brought very daring rhythms and a unique style rapping in French and Spanish to the stage.

    Cosmika

Cosmika showed us why Chile has a star on ifs flag, because she transported us to them with her notes and melodies, and  catchy lyrics that are pure fire. Clearly, this girl is pure talent.

    ShaniiRap

Shaniirap is probably the youngest rapper of the line-up but with a prodigious voice that rolled from rap to R&B passing through reggae. Shanii hypnotized us all, and although it seems that she could not sing everything she had prepared, she did not hesitate to give us an a capella song that the audience accompanied with clapping.

    El Colombiano Se Pega

The collective El Colombiano Se Pega put on a show with a lot of energy, and the Colombians showed the best of their lyrics, the narrative of the street, the wisdom of their experiences concentrated in a showcase that left the room red-hot.

    The Big Pater’s

The most awaited moment of the night was undoubtedly The Big Pater’s concert. People were already crazy to see the Turcios brothers give it all on stage, because anyone who has seen them together knows that they are pure dynamite. They started accompanied by Nina Blood to the shout of “The Big Pater’s represents”. Nothing could stop the show, which worked the crowd into such a frenzy that some of the fans jumped on stage to the rhythm of “Ojo por Ojo” at the end of the show.

It was, without a doubt, a good concert to start the month of April,  the people in attendance got to see a great show. The Big Pater’s has done it again; firing another shot for the Honduran rap revolution in Barcelona.
